Esse trabalho é baseado numa página de livro que fiz para um livro de artista de 12 páginas, a ser exibido na Bienal de Veneza; em Mainz, Alemanha - o local de nascimento da impressão moderna; em Úmbria, Itália, onde os primeiros livros foram impressos; no "United Nations Center", na Biblioteca de Alexandria, Egito, lar do primeiro livro, e finalmente em Jerusalem, Israel.

Fui convidada a participar desse projeto pelo "net.artist" alemão Reiner Strasser (http://netartefact.de/), que escreveu nessa ocasião:

"Bem, eu poderia fazer todas as páginas sozinho - mas estamos vivendo no século XXI e esperançosamente construiremos uma comunidade colaborativa na humanidade (e paz). Por isso minha idéia é criar um pequeno livro de "12 artistas, 12 páginas" para a exibição."

This work is based on the page I done to a handmade book of 12 pages, to be shown in the Biennale in Venice, in Mainz, Germany - the birthplace of the modern press and in Umbria, Italy, where the first books were printed, at the United Nations Center, at the New Library in Alexandria, Egypt, home of the first library, and finale in Jerusalem, Israel.

I was invited to that project by the net.artist Reinner Strasser (http://netartefact.de/), who wrote:

"Well, I could make all pages by myself – but we are living in the 21st century and hopefully will build a collaborative community in humanity (and peace).
Therefore my idea is to create a little book of “12 ARTISTS, 12 PAGES” for the exhibition."
